Clan Battle at Glen Frain Between the Colquhoun's and the MacGregor's
The Colquhouns were a small Clan favoured by the Stuart Monarchy for their loyalty to the Crown. After several were killed on their lands near Loch Lomond by raiding MacGregor's they recieved Royal permission to dispense retribution. In a pre-emtive strick the MacGregor chief Alasdair advanced to Glen Frain with about three hundred Clansmen $25.50
